96 Ls400 with ONLY 17k miles
Idk if anyone else saw this, but I was shocked to see this 96Ls with only 17k miles in it. This car must be a collectors item or something. But if I had 12grand to spend, I would rather buy a 04 Champagne Ls430
Would any of u guys buy that car? Just curious.http://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/de...6147/overview/

Yeah...so sad to let it sit like that. For $12K, 430 territory definitely. Nice that the engine doesn't have much miles it will need the 90K maintenance including fluids and is a candidate for ECU caps. Otherwise, a nice sample I'm sure someone will buy.

Hmm slightly less than 1000 mi. per year, looks new but obviously not many hwy miles, short stop and go miles does more damage. I prefer the 400's over the 430's though, they just look more distinctive and classy to me.

All well kept Ls400s are nice and elegant, but that 98-00 design model is a timeless classic in my opinion, it just has all the right curves.
Regardless how u feel about the Ls430 exterior design, behind the wheel is pure unadulterated LUXURY. The first time I test drove a 06 Ls430 I felt unworthy behind the wheel, I was amazed at how silky smooth it was and seats were relaxing and comfy. Needless to say I was blown away by that test drive.

$13k?!? Good luck getting that for an 19year old car...
17k miles doesnt justify the 3x premium on the price... Virtually all of the rubber and soft parts are going to need replacement as well as a ton of rehabilitation maintenance... Maybe @ $8k it might be worth it...

That is a great car and I understand the price. But personally I couldn't justify paying $12K for a LS400 no matter the mileage. I agree that for the same or little more money you could find a LS430. But a great looking car and a better deal under 10 grand.

I agree with you all its a nice car but too much $$$ . A car thats not driven is worse than one that's driven regularly. Once you start driving this rubber seals will be leaking rubber bushings will fall apart it will need much maintenance in the beginning but after that it will be nice. But knowing this makes it not worth the 13k.
