Here is a picture of my JL Audio IB4 10in sub. Just hooked it up the right way last night, for those that have heard it during the Pathfinder meet, it was only running at half power. You should hear it now.

Picture of the Pioneer amp and Pioneer 12 Disc changer. They are installed, but need to be mounted. Just have not had the time.

here is a picture of the 12v converter

you just plug the PS2 in to this, the converter unit itself is ran off a relay from 12v power not watts
if you are using the power inverter what is this pic of?

oh my bad! the pic i posted came from your post but it is small for some reason

i know what a power inverter is and how to use a relay, but i was wondering what the other pic was.

the picture looks like a ps2 switch with two blue wires crimped onto it. i thought at first that you modified your PS2 to use 12v dc. For example PC's use dc current; so, if you want to test some low wattage car device you can do so with a power supply from a computer (make sure you use a fuse though!).

i am stil curious though what is the pic with swith and the blue wires of?

My bad guys, but the power was still being convertered. I just found it more suitable in using the unit instead of the blue wire setup because the PS2 would always stay on when the car would be on. You can still hook up the PS2 like that but I did not like the idea of it on all the time.

Default PS2 Converter

This looks like it will do away with the 12v Converter.
It's good to know that PS2 will fit in the glovebox.
PowerPlayPS2 Converter
IMPORTANT:
This product only works with the later versions of the PlayStation®2: Look at the underside of your PS2; if there is a ‘Hazard’ warning imprinted in the case plastic and there are eight little square screw covers then the PowerPlay board WILL work with your PlayStation®.

A version for older models of the PlayStation®2 will be available soon.

The converter board is easy to fit and takes only a few minutes; all you need is a screwdriver and there is no soldering required. Comprehensive fitting instructions with plenty of photos are supplied.

The converter will operate at any voltage between 9V and 30V DC and will draw around 5 Amps.Due to this wide operating voltage you will be able to use you PS2 in a car, a truck or a caravan!

Yes it does, but it does not play VCDs. I just wanted to download music videos and watch them through my DVD player thats all.

I think it is a better idea to use the power inverter because it cost the same as that PS2 12-volt converter, and also, you get an extra 120 v ac plug.

btw, there is also a way for you to convert the PS2 to play vcd', but I am too lazy to search for the link.i think it is here: www.liksang.com

I have the same CD Changer. Where'd you mount the wired remote?

edit: i just saw that you have an aftermarket head unit, so you probably don't use the wired remote, so disregard this if u don't use the wired remote
