Default Wait... Did my AC just suddenly go out???

So I was sitting idle for a few minutes at the bank when suddenly, it felt like the AC in my car stopped being REALLY cold (like it lost some power). The blower and everything still work but the air didn't feel as "crisp". It was blowing very cool air instead of very cold air.

After leaving from work later in the day, I tried the AC again. It blew out the same cool air (the air was just a little colder than when you set the car to blow air without the AC button engaged). So I just left the AC button engaged and drove the rest of the way home.

(Normal settings: Fan Level at 2, Temp at 67)

However, I started noticing that the more I drove, the colder the air got. By the time I got close to my home (a 20 minute drive), the air blowing out felt the way it normally does (nice and cold). Does anybody have any thoughts on what the heck might have happened?

(Forgot to mention, I have a 1998 LS400 for this that need this info).

Check your relays. 1st: then check your AC codes.

Default Update:

So I came back from talking to my mechanic and letting him look at the car. He connected his gauges to the nuzzle on the front of the grill and another one in the towards the back of the engine near the windshield.

I guess the gauges all had normal readings according to him. He said the fan seems to working fine as well. In other words, he couldn't find anything to really suggest there's something wrong with the AC.

His shop is about 15 minutes from my house, so by the time I got to him the AC had cooled the car pretty well. So in his view, the AC seemed fine. But I know something is definitely different because a friend who was in the car with me noticed the change when it happened as well.

Anyhoo, just thought I'd share that bit of info in case if anyone here has any suggestions for what i can probably look at it.
