1994 LS400/when cold transmission feels like its slipping?
1994 LS400/when i start the car in the morning an put it in drives i put my foot on the gas pedal it engine revs an then symtom seems to go away am puzzle need help?

First thing is to check the fluid on the stick make sure there is enough. When was last fluid change? What kind of fluid was used? How many miles on the car or transmission? Was the filter ever changed?

I worry about the badly clogged strainer. When cold, the ATF doesn't flow well enough through the strainer which is clogged and making a resistance of the flow.
