90 starts and runs good then dies
Started doing this out of the clear blue, doing its normal warm up deal I put it in gear and pulled a little load on it like I usually do maybe about 1500 rpms, backed of the gas and it died. It started right up, ran a bit then died. No CEL I disconnected the battery for a few minutes, started right up and let it idle for awhile, throttled up and down a bit, and was about to just turn it off and it died.
Car has almost 300,000 miles, so now I got another fun project, I guess I need to get one of my ecu's ready to go. I suppose I should check the fuel pump resistor too. Anyone else have the sudden onset of dying like that?

idle issues are common esp for early model cars. have you tried cleaning the throttle body and idle ports? clean the intake tract and see. also be careful about your AFM. i believe those are NOT supposed to be cleaned with a spray solution.
if you have not yet done so, i would consider rebuilding the ECU as well.

No I haven't cleaned it. There was no idling problems at all, the first time I had it at about 1500 to 1200 rpm then I backed off it died. Started right up ran kinda crappy then died. I disconnect battery for a bit, restarts and ran just fine, let it idle for a while reved up a bit then just died again. Just to rule it out I removed the ecu, its not real handy where it is to work on it. Have not had time to look at the ecu and get caps. It did have a high idle issue months ago that a battery disconnect fixed. And had the cluster do a funny thing a few weeks ago too.
No cel . This car is last on my list of car projects, I have one that needs the front end worked on, and electrical is soo much fun, it could be almost anything. High miles lots of wear on relays etc, cps and all that stuff.
