Custom fit Heavy duty all weather floor mats for UCF20?
Since my 1997 LS400 will be seeing winter duty, I would like to get a set of heavy duty rubber floor mats with kind of a lip around the edge to contain water/snow and keep the carpet nice.
I found that weather tech makes some standard mats, but not the "laser designed" ones with the wall around them to keep water from spilling out. What they do make doesn't look any better than what you could get from the parts store.
What do you recommend for serious heavy duty winter floor mats for a ucf20?

I've seen people use the heavy duty versions from walmart. They cut out a slice for the gas pedal and it's a great fit and covers the original mat nicely. Good price and cheap to replace if they get too grungy...

Why not call weather tech and tell them how they are missing out on sales. I was thinking of some of them too, but I guess that's out the door.
So what is it after certain years they don't bother? Its the older cars that people would want them for. If I had a lease like most people do I wouldn't even care about the floor.

99 LS400 mats
I had a set of cheap generic mats from Costco, but they had such a strong smell, even after months of use, I threw them out. Got Weathertech

started using them a few weeks ago, so far good. I wish they made their liners for my car. I did buy the cargo liner, very happy with it!!!
