Angry check engine light after leaving collision shop

Hello Lex lovers

? here,

Had my left fender replaced from a dent put in by a careless driver, collsion shop repaired the
fender,(did excellent job)received 95 back and noticed immediately
that my check engine light was on,

well I made a super quick u-turn to find out what the problem was, well the collision manager told
me to lift the hood, I lifted,he found out that they cleaned my engine with a power sprayer now it
has been running erratic since, pretty hard starting , my ? is what possible could that
be? check engine light stays on.

I had the same thing happen after my engine was pressure washed (90 LS). I finally found that one of my spark plug holes was full of water. I blew some compressed air in there and it took care of the problem. I guess the ECU knows when a cylinder is misfiring?

well gang,

the lexus fixed itself, check engine light went off never came back on, I guess the power wash
cleared itself up, well no trip to the dealer, all in all very satisfied with the new fender.

woah. pretty bad. they're supposed to go carefully around the "sensitive spots" of the engine bay like the spark plugs, alternator, air intake, etc.
I'm too nervous and scared to pay $$$ for a pressure wash degreasing, so i just lightly hose off my engine bay myself during every other car wash, before the gunk gets caked on. at least i can chop my own head off when i do something stupid, i figure.
