now these

3600/4500 lumens...they are brighter and put out more light on the road and down the road than both hid kits i had..which were 5k-6k kits

1- HID kits are commonly sold advertising themselves as being 3000/5000/6000/8000/12000k and beyond. This has NOTHING to do with light output (lumens) whatsoever, this is referencing their Color Temperature in (K) Kelvin.
(Source1, Source2)
2- OEM hid are generally ~4200-4300k in temperature, and Philips rates these as nominally putting out ~3400 Lumens of light (+/- 250lumens) when driven at the standard D2 35W.
(Source: Philips USA 85122 DataSheet, a standard OEM D2S bulb)
3- Light Output (Lumens) is Inversely related to Color Temperature (Kelvin). So, as color temperature increases (ie- Light gets more blue/purple than yellow) into the 5/6/8/12K range, the amount of Light Output (Lumens) Decreases DRASTICALLY. Hence, beyond even 6,000K is not usually recommended for street use, though that doesn't seem to stop people from wanting "jdm blue" lights.
(Source: See 1.)
That being said, pretty much all LED kits I've seen personally and heard/read about have performed TERRIBLY in comparison, with light output being a FRACTION of the lumens. This is evidenced by the lumen rating found on most LED headlight kits, and with most of them recommending against highway use as sole lighting. However, I am not familiar with this newer design you've linked to, and can't speak to it's efficacy. A non-manufacturer link is needed, as everything they show about their own product that's not in whitesheet/technical specification form is simply marketing, and often subject to inflation in this industry (as you know).
However, given a quick search has yielded literally no reviews with empirical data confirming their actual light output, I find it somewhat difficult to believe they've somehow magically become the only company to obtain better than HID levels of light output and longevity with similar levels of reliability. If you know of any such reviews or comparisons I would love to read them.

In Japan, they say PIAA's LED head lights are good. But I myself haven't tried those yet. Things are mostly written in Japanese but photos, figures and alphabets can be recognized by non Japanese people.

Python, are you on the LS400 facebook group? Or could you send me photos of your LEDs?
I am sick of the Phillips HIDs that are on my LS400 that I bought from a forum sponser (Xenondepot) and they sucked. Bad. $250 out of pocket. Just for the 9003/H4s alone. They are completely burnt out now let alone only one worked for the majority of the time I had them (Installed August 2013, Driver's side didn't last into 2014).
I am on the fence of getting another set of XenonDepot LEDs, especially with the low 2500 lumen output.
Trying to get sets of either OPT7 or VLED LMZ for the fogs, highs and lows.
EDIT: Saw your links on previous page Python. Would you be able to post pics?
EDIT x2: This is interesting... I was reading on a Hyundai forum about GTR Lighting repacking some Chinese LEDs from AliExpress... (Link Here Post #84+). I found some similar ones to the Gen 2s AIOs on AliExpress, but they don't look too similar... (Link Here)... So I decided to search for All-In-One LEDs on Amazon just for ****s and giggles and came across the Kensun LEDs which looks 99.5% Identical. ). I might just order them just to see...

im not on the facebook group..sorry, ill try to get some pics next week or so..my car sits in my dads garage and i dont drive it much because i just had the lower portion of the doors(claddings) and both bumpers repainted..so im waiting for the holidays to pass so i can have it wrapped in the 3m paint protectant..and therein lies the issue with hids which was my main point to PD..the reliability on the hids suck..but yet he of course blamed it on having cheap kits which i already knew he was going to do. i have eagle eyes on my 92 so they arent really the best option for light output as lets say a retrofit to projectors..but to me that doesnt matter...its the output and reliability combined that puts the led lights well above the hids. u know how many people i have come into work with a ballast or bulb from either factory or aftermarket kits...me either i cant count that high and some of the factory
bulbs are well over 100 dollars each! HIDS ARE JUNK!

No worries, I picked up the Kensuns during a Black Friday sale since they look identical to the GTRs, i'll report how they are. Really wondering how the Highs work on the 95-97... since the lows are dual filament, they never worked with HIDs. However I hear with LEDs, it works.... Soooo I'll have a total output of 18,000 lumens when I just the highs...? That would be overkill haha. But I already know people will flash me with the lows on, so when they get a handshake with the highs, they'll really be sad...

The Kensuns do have built in drivers. 99.5% of the bulb is identical to the GTRs, with the exception of the housing of the LEDs. They don't list how many lumens the bulbs have, that's the only downside, if I don't like em, I will just order some VLED ones with standalone drivers and see how those are.

Sorry Python, been dealing with some personal issues. Anyways. Here's some pics... I have all bulbs pointed at 3 and 6... The high beams aren't exactly what I had hoped to see, even though I have heard the argument that HIDs high beams weren't worth it since lows and fogs are better... I figured why not, but now I know.
I need to aim the lights higher, they throw out a nice beam, but the distance is lacking.
Overall thoughts, not bad for $210 shipped, would GTR LEDs make a bigger difference at triple the cost? Not sure...
Here's the gallery, see pic descriptions.
