Sorry spuds, didn't see this until now: All ok with the TB change work. Just FYI - my misfire problem was my wife was using regular grade gasoline.... Medium grade fixed the misfire. This is why we should talk to our wives at the dinner table.
I will say I lied about changing both cam shaft seals - I left the drivers side seal in (IDK - it wasn't leaking so...) - well, it started leaking. REPLACE ALL SEALS WHILE IN THERE! But it is leaking around the perimeter - so I pulled the cam cover and that end cam bearing cap and rotated the seal while smearing Permatex on the outer perimeter - like five rotations until I could see sealant as it rotated around. Cleared the excess, put the thin layer on the cap edges as called for, buttoned it up and it seems to have stopped leaking - at least I am not seeing oil on top of the engine cover under the engine.
Engine stuff is easy - especially on an non-interference engine - can't really damage anything. Wait until you start having SRS problems with the OBD1 system (OBDNONE) - replaced bad seat belt retractor and now have code 71 - not even an SRS code - I am giving up and taking it to a dealer.....
