93 -94 LS400's are very similar...save for minor tweaks.

Don't trouble the brain of the kid answering the phone at the wrecking yard.

Determine what you need before contacting the wrecking yard...such as P.N.s...otherwise they may inadvertently substitute an incorrect part...

Request images of the component as well as year, make, model, mileage and VIN # of the donor vehicle...

Component transitions have occurred mid model year...contact your Lexus dealer with your VIN and the donor vehicle VIN to verify parts match. (I trust you support the Lexus dealer on occasion ..and know the name of the parts guy)

Yes. I did it on mine. 1994 LS400 used a 1993 LS400 cluster. After I changed the Caps on both boards.

Did you use low ESR caps? I did not and thinking of changing them to ESR caps. If you did, do you know the part numbers of ESR caps used? Thanks in advance.

I don't think they are as vital, as they are on the ECM. But I did use low esr caps. Contact Digi-Key their sales people will help you get the correct low esr caps. I did it a while back, lost cap info, sorry. The silver caps are the most important ones to change out. Do the small board first, check results, you will be a happy LS400 owner. Now that I think about it,the low esr caps I used on the ECM are pretty close to what you need on the cluster boards. Good Luck, well worth the work.
