Rose Mica Pearl ???
Anyone else have an LS this color. Its a 92, and I see it on other LS 400s quite often, but not in the gallery here at CL. Its not exactly the most hip and fashionable color ever offered by Lexus.
I was thinking of deleting the two-tone, by spraying it all the top color (less painting, more affordable) to at least make it look like a newer car.
Any thoughts on this?

You are right, the color is probally not the most popular but if you like it that is all that matters. As far as having it repainted. I would advise against it. No where will you be able to find the quality of paint that comes stock from the Lexus dealership. My LS is 10 years old and the paint looks like it was put on yesterday and all I do is wash it once every week or two.

Whoa Marx Whoa!!
Don't short change that colour. If the colour you are showing is a blueish
colour, I have the same thing. Mine is also a '92, with gold trim (ugly combo).
Im just messing around, It was an awsome colour a few years ago, before
everyone started coming out with better looking blue colours. One I like right
now is from Nissan, its like a prize winning blue colour.
As far as painting the bottom of it, you want to make sure that the shop first
wet sands the plastic to make it rough. They then should spray a perticular
brand of primer, cant remember it off the top of my head. Then they can paint
it to the factory colour code. The primer will help make the paint stick to the
plastic. Also make sure they put a very good layer of clear coat. Maybe even
two, since its so close to the ground. Once done, it should look nice. I have
a friend who has a white one, and painted the bottom half pearl white too. Very
sharp!
Hope this info helps.

No, its definately not blue. I always used to say it was grey, but then some freinds of mine who used to sell Lexus laughed and said that it was realy brown.
At any rate, thanksfor the advise. I just bought some 16" GS400 rims, they should look sharp with the car being mono-chromatic.
