How to RAISE LS400 REAR Suspension ONLY!
#16
I wouldn't recommend 'raising' the rear end to solve this issue, what happens when you have a full load of passengers, hit a dip, pull into or out of a steep driveway ect? Still gonna rub and eventually ruin the tire with any half-baked solution.
In my opinion a combination of negative camber and/or smaller tire is all that's left given that a light fender roll or correct offset wheels is out of the picture.

you chose the wrong tire sizes for the wheels. i would have chosen 225/245 with a 35/30 series tire combo. 40-series is too much sidewall for the sizing. it will certainly not fit right, and look donk-tastic (unless that's your goal)!
don't under estimate the amount of camber the car gives when lowered. it actually has a LOT. i would not roll the fenders, i would trim or cut them since the metal is soo thick there that rolling will be difficult and cause waves.

It's quick and painless and works great. Though I gotta agree with PD and Timmy, even a shave like mine (PLEASE do not attempt to roll rear fenders) will not cure all fitment issues. It should be a well thought out approach starting with tire size. Having an adjustable set-up with coils or bags would help as well. Good luck.

Well the shock and the spring rate wouldn't be affected if I could find a spacer that would go between the top of the strut and the strut mount on the car. What would be the best tire size for minimal to no rubbing with my wheel specs? I prefer to have some sidewall and not completely stretched either.

What are the wheel-tire specs? Are these the original springs in the car? Various options include: fender shave-pull, narrower tire/stretched, firmer spring rate or all three.
One of our members made a spacer to bolt above the shock/strut mount. The bolts on the mount are usually sufficiently long to add about 1/4". I don't suggest this when there are other easier options like a fender shave or pull.
