first gen LS400 articles

In one of your recent emails, you said C&D, R&T, Motor Trend, etc., articles were posted on reviews of first genertion LS400. I coldn't find them or open the articles, so, obviously, I couldn't copy. Do you still have that info? thanks

I think was the order.

An Audi A8 was in 3rd place. Jag 4 and MB S320 was 5th. I have this issue, along with some others, at home. Unfortunately, I don't have a scanner, otherwise I'd love to share with you all. I don't have accesss to a fax machine either.

. Also look for a Car and Driver comparison from (I think) Feb. 1995. The newly redesigned LS400 ccame in first place, beating a BMW 7-series (also new at the time), MB E420, Jag XJ6, and Infiniti Q45.

Other articles I have with the LS400-

Car and Driver, 11/99- LS400 finishes in 2nd place, behind a 740iL.
Car and Driver- sometime in 1996- LS400 finishes in 3rd, behind a 540i and MB E420. Not really a fair comparison IMHO, the LS is in a totally different class than those two
Motor Trend, 8/95- LS400 vs. 740iL and Jag XJ6. Can't remember which car won. I think I threw away this mag by accident a while back.
Motor Trend, 7/89- First drive of the original LS400. They called the car 'breathtaking.'

You might want to check out the archives at your local library. Some libraries keep old issues, and some others have the old issues on microfiche.
