2000 LS400 turn signals not working
Hi -
the turn signals and hazard lights have gone out on my car, I checked both fuse blocks ( inside and under hood ) for bad fuses and all were good. Can someone please tell me where the flasher assembly is located and if their is possibly an inline fuse I could have missed?.........Thank You

used a lighted probe circuit tester on each fuse , they all were testing good
appreciate the reply..only thing i can think of thats left is the flasher....nothing happens when you try to use the hazard lights or the turn signal....unless I missed a fuse somewhere?

hi -
haven't done any dash work on the car at all....... I even took a spare fuse and replaced it but no effect at all.... unless I missed a possible inline fuse somewhere that I cant see..... fuse has power but the signals or flash are inoperative
thank you for your reply

Hazard and turn signal go through the flasher. Located to the left of parking brake pedal. See thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-...-location.html Post #6

Toyota uses the same flasher relay units for different cars. I have seen the inside of a couple of failed ones. The unit has a printed circuit board inside and it is consisting of semiconductors, Cs, Rs and a relay. Both of failed units had soldering cracks. I'd simply remove the unit and check inside.

the short was inside the right front fender wiring, what caused it is yet unknown.....wiring worked itself out of the loom and the insulation got exposed after years.... if I find the actual cause I will post it.....
