I left my Sun roof open today on tilt and when I got in after work I have a red peg light on the top of my dash flashing and it is making a chirping noise. We recently got the car and this is the first time it has happened. We looked in the user manual but found nothing.

It is a warning alarm that is suppose to tell you the moon roof is open. I think it goes on after the key is removed from the ignition switch and the moon roof is left open. Turning on the key and closing the roof should clear it.

We figured out it was the radar. We have had the car for a couple months and never touched the **** and today it decided to start working on its own. We were thinking it was a security issue beings that it was left open but it was a simple fix. Sorry for any confusion.

I kinda goofed up about the light, I know there is an alarm for leaving the moon roof open, but no light that I know of.
So is it the built in radar detector you are talking about? There was supposed to be one offered as a dealer install I think.
