The cloth seats don't even look right, they look like something that should be in a hearse. Yes they do wear better than the leather, but just something about them doesn't look good. Even the cloth seats in a Subaru look better than the ones in an LS400. And if you spill something on them it can soak right in. Also cloth holds smoke stink real well, it never leaves it.

I highly disagree on appearance. They look suited for a Japanese luxury car.
The Japanese knew what they were doing with cloth, as fabric seats are actually considered more luxurious in Japan than leather, and were put in many Celsiors for that reason.
Not everyone has to like cloth or leather, but the seats in this car are perfectly comfortable in either form - I've sat in both.
