A Long Overdue Goodbye
Goodbye for now, at least.
I was in love with this forum when I owned my 95 dwp ucf20. That was the first car that I bought myself, and was thrilled to get out of my parent's loaner Honda. I rescued her from a horrible and wealthy family, and drove her everyday for over two years.
I did most of the repairs myself, including both valve cover seals, a new radiator, exhaust leaks, a lot of bushings, and literally all the fluids. As far as upgrades, I replaced the entire shock assembly with kybs and oem rubber, but dropped on tanabe df210s. I had clear markers lights, is350 wheels, 5000k hids, custom emblems, and so, so much more. I learned everything that I know about cars, on that vehicle.
She died a slow and painful death too...
The slow leakage inside the ecu, coupled with two different collisions on different sides of the vehicle, essentially totaled her. I ended up selling her for $500. I cried that day.
But two years later, I bought this gem fresh from the dealership. Now another year later, I've finally gotten the plates right. Some things never change.
Shout out to pd, ra40, and billydp, if you are still on here. You were very helpful to me back then, and I appreciate you for it.

Sorry to hear about your 95' LS, SpencerT. That's an unfortunate turn of events, but I am glad you are still okay through the collisions and ECU failure.
The amount of time and work you put into that car is very respectable. I have also seen all of the members you mentioned, around the forum.
Best of luck in the future. Hopefully you can pick up another 95' LS again, when the time is right. For now, hang the old plates up on a wall or something, I noticed you have another set sitting on the lawn in one of your photos.

Thanks for checking back. Events in life can alter the path we intend to pursue, with cars situations arise. Enjoy the Optima, if you want to mod it, there are goodies for it. This car looks pretty nice dropped on JDM wheels.
I feel I've seen this one in Buena Park where other Concept III car owners would hang out.
