If it got "coolant" in the crankcase then bearings are distressed and if like mine it burns "motor oil" not atf from the power steering then it likely needs rering. Mine ran for months leaking oil and sucking dirt because the driver side cam plug at the rear popped out, it was not mine then. So things happen where an overhaul is needed. High miles means its time for some work if you want it to be reliable.

If bottom end problems then locate another engine...

The heads on early 1UZ-FE have a lot of pptential..

Check out this link for ways to improve the power of the 4-valve/cylinder t1UZ-FE o equal or exceed low-end and upper end power/torque of later VVT configuration
