Check out my 96 LS400
Hey everyone. I'm new to the scene, but have appreciated these cars for a long time. I waited until the right one came my way and picked it up. Mine is a 96 with the Pioneer system and the monster factory cellphone option. I picked it up with 124k miles on the odometer for only $2,000.00, and it had just left the shop getting new control arm bushings, power steering pump, exhaust with new cats, battery and alternator and a new set of wheels and tires. I like the newer model wheels a lot better that the stock wheels, but I am going to look at some spacers to bring them further out of the wheel wells. I have also just ordered a replacement pioneer sub and amp off ebay for my car as the sub is the only part that is not working. Other than my front seats having some tears in the leather, the car is very nice. I plan on keeping it for a long time, so some new upholstery will definitely be in the works as well as acres of window tint. Glad to be a part of this car culture.

Welcome and congrads for the great looking LS.
As far as spacers behind the wheels, 2 things, first make sure an extreme bump won't drive the tires into the fenders and ruin your beauty, next consider the extra bearing loading that is caused by extending the tires out further, those LS engineers did what they did for a reason. And something else that is changed is front end geometry, the inclination point is moved farther in on the tread.
So is it a dark blue, or black?

Well, I was looking into either a small spacer or just a slightly larger tire. Those wheels came off of a newer model IS250, and have pretty low profile sporty tires. I might be happy just stepping the profile up some and getting a softer ride, and that would help fill out my wheel wells. I will most likely just do the tires, so as not to cause unnecessary wear on the suspension. Yes the car is Atlantis Blue Mica, not sure on the bottom color/
