throttle percentage At 72.55% when full throttle
hey so when I open the throttle body all the way (not with the cable at the tb with my hand) my scanner says that the throttle percentage is at 72.55%, and when I open the throttle using only the cruise part of the mechanism it says it's at 78%, just wondering what might be causing this, obviously it's not a worn throttle cable, could it be a miscalibrated tps or something else? It should say 100% open at full throttle shouldn't it? Car runs perfect just doesn't seem to kick down very well

On my 1998, there is a connector that goes on to the throttle cable piece on the left side of the throttle body as you can see in this pic. I guess it's another sensor in addition to the TPS, TPS is on the opposite side.
I've suspected either the left side (throttle body sensor), or the actual electronic throttle motor above the TPS could be the culprit of the car not responding much when you first press the gas.
If you have an older car I don't know if they have an electronic throttle body or not.

They do not its a cable, and the throttle body is In a completely different spot actually haha, intake manifold is completely different. I was mainly just curious if anyone else had values for when they were floored what their throttle position percentage was at. I know on all my other vehicles it says 100% with the pedal to the metal
