Default Oil change dilemma?! Please help?

So my ls400 has been maintained excellent over its life all records I have. The last 2 oil changes were 6/1/2015 at 140,000, and 11/11/2015(mileage wasn't indicated on sheet, someone got lazy). I can only assume 143,000 miles. I bought the car with 144,000 it now has 145,000. The oil I believe used is mobile 1 synthetic. Although it hasn't been 20,000 miles since the last oil change its clear the oil/car has done some sitting as the car has only aquired 6,000 in a year and a half. Taking it in to get a oil change tomorrow should I be worried about anything have shortened the life span of the motor??

No.

I run 7,500 mile intervals with Mobil 1 5W30. You're fine. Use an OEM filter if you can.

x2 for mobil 1. I run 10w30. OEM filters are good or mobil 1 filters are rated good, they even have the extended performance ones that they say will last 15,000 miles.

No issues with the oil. Ours is driven about 5K annually so the oil typically is changed at about a year and 4 months or until it hits 7,500 to 8000 miles.

No sweat about it, just change it once a year if not driven much or 7500 mile if using synthetic oil.

Same as above... with my cycles and cars often times they don't get changed but once a year. Whether they need it or not.

my OCI (oil change interval) nears 10k on full synthetic. there are MANY threads on OCI, and to answer your question in your situation I would not worry if the car had synthetic oil.
