Default re upholstered leather drivers seat

Hello, what do you guys think is a fair price to pay to have a 1998 tan leather driver seat re-upholstered?

WOW 1000 for a single seat? In Aus you can do all the seats minus new foam for that. The other option would be to see if you can get a single seat made from an online interior upholstery business like leatherseats and fit it your self.

Yeah, that seems a little high. How badly is it ripped up? There's some good patch & dye kits out now.

I got a quote once for $400 for just the seat, gray leather. Didn't follow up on it yet, though.

I need to get mine done too. Haven't gotten around to getting quotes but I think I'm just gonna scope craigslist for someone parting out one with a good seat.

Don't overlook buying the leather kit and fitting it yourself. If you have that much time. A bit cheaper than getting it done buy a pro and you can choose the color.

My friend found some mint condition Coach Leather seats in the JY a week ago. They wanted 90 bucks each seat, so the deals are out there. I managed to snag the rear perforated bench lower part for 20 bucks in perfect shape since he ran out of time taking the fronts out

I have a pretty common color too, the tan interior.

My seat isn't that bad. Wearing out on left side above where your kidney would be.

I put a tan MasterPlaster self adhesive leather patch on it and it works great but the colors don't match.

My interior isn't bad but, I got a rip in my driver seat and the leather on the rear seats is starting to take some sun damage. I know there are several leather seat kits for sale but, I'd prefer to convert my leather to cloth. Are there any cloth seat kits available?

You might be able to find a Clazzio or equivalent cover for your car man. Ofcourse that would be the entire set but it'd freshen up the car maybe...
