1998 alarm going off
Pretty much only when it's warmer out side e/g in direct sun for more than a while, the alarm will start going off constantly. Super annoying since I basically can't lock the car due to this -- using the key to lock it still arms the alarm apparently.
Tried shooting PB into all the latches / switches, no change.
Question - are LED's known to cause this? This issue started some time after I did an interior LED conversion. And before anyone jumps on me for doing 'trendy' mods, I did it to stop the battery from dying overnight when my kids don't shut the doors all the way. /rant/ Even with the 100's of lights and engineering hours put into this vehicle, apparently the engineers didn't think to put a delayed shutoff on anything. :/ Even the auto headlights won't turn off if one of the doors or trunk is ajar. /endRant/

I have never had any double locking like in your thread. Everything works normally except for the alarm going off certain times randomly, usually on warm sunny days.
Even while driving or parked I've never had the dash indicate any sensor is being tripped. As we know it beeps and goes bonkers if any sensor is open with the key on. Never seen anything unusual.
The only thing that I've done to the car before the alarm issue started is the interior LED conversion.
