Lost my only key

One key?
Does anyone know if I can pair just one key to the car once I've had the ECU "flashed" / "reset" / "restored to virgin state"? Or does it absolutely require two master keys be paired? I'm planning to sell the car immediately after fixing this issue; I mistakenly ordered only one new programmable master key; and I'd rather not spend the extra money having another key overnighted if I don't need to.

So I got the car back on the road with the help of an awesome locksmith in town. However, it looks like the keyless entry radio that came with my replacement key (eBay special) doesn't match my car.
Where is the go-to place to get a replacement keyless entry radio for my key shell?

Not that I'm aware. Thus a trip to the dealer with your registration and VIN#, key will be about $350. From there buy spare transponder keys from a favorite key dealer and have copies made. Non transponder keys can be made as well so that way if locked out access is still possible but these will not enable the car to run.

I lost the only key to my 1999 LS400 last night. My car is effectively completely inoperable now. I still have the shell of a key with the metal key part but I no longer have a radio (the part with the keyless entry buttons on it, plus the chip which is required to start the car). What is the most inexpensive yet correct way of getting another key + radio paired to my car?
Thanks in advance.

I know- I purchased my vehicle without the transponder keys. However, with the help of my local sketchy Iranian locksmiths, this was a common thing in their country apparently. What they do is take out your ECU and somehow flash it or re-solder something internally to accept a new transponder signal. The locksmiths will supply you with the original Denso transponder keys if you atleast have the valet key to copy the cut with. I paid a hefty amount for two transponder keys and it took the locksmith a couple hours to perform the whole job. Ask around town- you may get lucky and come across someone who's done it before. Otherwise, you're going to be paying upwards into the thousands from the dealer to source a brand-new ECU and program new keys with that. Good luck.

When my wife's purse got stolen along with the key within, I sent a copy of my driver's license, registration (as proof of ownership) to Sewell Lexus with an order for a replacement and a valet key. I had the new keys within a week. All I needed to do was re-program the key to the car and all was good.
I still had my master key so moving the car was no problem. Back in 2009 the cost for the remote master key cut to my VIN was $165, the valet key was $65. Total was $230.
