reach out to BC and confirm preload settings. They don't always come right out of the box.

Generally you'll want the front ~30-40% stiffer than the rear.

my damper setting is 20 front 15 rear, but I'm on air and I'm 2nd gen 97. what I've always gone by is to never set it to full soft or full hard. you have up to 30 clicks, soft to hard.
I say play with the settings though if you don't have the extenders for the rear, it will be difficult with the seats installed.

Once installed what do you have to remove to get access to adjustment with extenders?

some kits came with them, mine did not. you have to install them and protrude them from the interior.
they look similar to this!

With those extenders can you hear/feel the "click" when you've changed the setting? That looks odd but sure would be convenient.

yes its the same tactile click that you would feel without it, same thing! the extender just elongates the adjustment ****.

i set the pre-load myself according to the video. used the spanner wrench as an adjustment gap once i turned to lower perch in as far as i could by hand....then tightened lock nut. i assume close is good enough unless u get into counting threads or measuring the spring length?

they would usually ive you an amount of preload, ie 20mm more than snug, or similar.
