Hope you're enjoying your whiter and brighter fog lights
About the pitted headlight covers, I have had pretty good results using car polish (3M hand glaze), rub the polish on, using firm but even pressure. Finish it off with some Pledge spray.
It won't do wonders, but at least will make the plastic cover look newer and smell lemony
Hope it helps

A Dremel would be perfect for that! I was thinking about opening up the headlights to clean inside them, they are soooo dirty. Retro has a good how to on that. Maybe when I get some new bulbs I'll do that.

300zx foglight brigthness comparison.
Left side glare guard still attach --- rightside glare guard removed
As you can see the driver side foglight is significantly brigther than the passanger side.

Much brighter
Strida,
That looks sharp on your Z. It is much brighter. What year and color is your car? But on the Z, the bubs are low enough to not shine into the eyes of oncoming cars. I think it may be too bright on ours, though, since the foglight sits right next to the headlights. Not that brighter isn't better for our visibility and looks sharp too, but I don't want to blind anyone or get a ticket. With the fogs on in the first generation LS400, you have to have the headlight on, when you go to high beams (9004 headlight bulbs with two filaments, one bulb on each side), it turns the fogs off. So if we had our fogs on with no glare guard, it may look like we have high beams on with a dual headlight system, when actually it is just the 9004 headlights on low beam and the H3 fogs on with no glare guard or yellow filter.
