Cool New to this forum

Wassup CL Fam,

Got myself a 94 LS400 from some older retired folks this past weekend with 124k miles on it. I'm planning to go with the simple and clean look what are some of my options? I have a set of 20s in the garage that came off my IS350 I'm planning to throw on. The offsets are 20x9 +35 and 20x10.5 +30, would they fit on the LS? Would any fender work needed? I am planning to bagged it and small detail mods. Please give me your idea of the best bang for buck setup but at the same time don't want it to cost more than my car lol. Thanks for all the help in advance!
I have a electrical problem. For some reason the gas gauge does not work. It's always on E, do yall know how I can fix this?

welcome! be sure to check the FAQ section as it is a wealth of info.
as for your wheel choice, in my humble opinion 20s are way too big. 19s are border too big in my eyes as well on 1st gen. 18s are perfect! your sizing though should fit depending on tire size and drop. with air ride, you will need to trim or flatten the rear fender to clear the 10.5s.
best suspension bang for buck are coilovers, and I like BC Racing myself. $800-1000 which may be close to what you paid for the car!
as for the gas gauge, it's likely the sensor in the tank is compromised. it's common to have a failed fuel pump. the sensor may have been knocked loose during its replacement.

What Timmy said. Good luck with the build and welcome to the club. Enjoy the ride.

Wink

One of your options of course is to do nothing. Those stock rims suit the car just fine IMO. You write as if it's somehow obligatory to change them.
Why folks want to put comedy wheels on their cars is beyond me. Maybe I'm just old!
