Default Rolling through the 5 with my woes (coilover help)

Sooo, I'm really doing my best not to order BC Racing coil overs. I love them to death. I've used them on 2 other platforms and had them stand up against what I threw at them. However, they're almost 300 bux more than the Megan EZ coils and for a cruiser, I think these will be fine. I've read through the forums and everyone who's on them (megans) seems to have good reviews. I ordered Megans on Tuesday and got a message from Amazon yesterday that they were out of stock with no release date. I've searched and that seems to be the case EVERYWHERE. Now, I have a 93 and I know that my suspension will work on later models but later models WON'T work on mine. Do I have any other options as far as coilovers are concerned, or should I just bite the bullet and BC it on up.

This is my end game

I've got the wheels ready but I refuse to put them on until I have suspension and I'm ready to take off these ALMOST NEW blizzaks. lol

Thanks in advance.

if you are patient you can find some used megans on the cheap. BC is far superior as you know and only you can weigh your choice on what you're willing to spend on a cruiser. I thought most megans out there in the market are aimed at UCF10s?
I'm sure you're aware that the picture you posted is a 95-97 car right.

Yeah. I couldn't find a picture of a 93 with them on. Or at least one that looked half decent. Found a BUNCH of 95-00. But, yeah. Pic is just for reference. At any rate, I know the BC's are better. And I plan on holding on to the car for quite some time and I know it will hold up. I guess I was just trying to be cheap about the whole thing and I'm mad I can't be. Most of the Megans that I've seen are for 95-00. And while I feel like some of them are badged wrong, I'm not willing to take the chance. Sounds like I'm just going to go with the BC's. UGGHHHHH... I can NEVER go cheap, even when I try. Guess it always works out better in the end. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

never seen a UCF10 with style 95s before. may be too aggressive perhaps but I'm sure it's doable. good luck with your search!

So, exterior wise, is there anything different, other than the lower part of the front bumper? I know the underbits are different (hence my woes), I know the interior has slight difference (the shift **** and steering wheel for starters). I know the motor is tuned differently. but, is there any exterior difference sans what was mentioned. MOST of the LS's I've seen on Style 95's have been 95 with a few face-lifted joints sprinkled in there.

yes the body is very different between generations so wheels will fit differently between them. 95-up can accept much wider wheel/tire packages hence why I have not seen any UCF10s with style 95s (yet). doors, quarter panels, fenders, bumpers everything is wider on a UCF20!

WELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLP, ish is about to get REALLY REALLY real in a couple days here lol. Just ordered the BC's. Guess I'll be doing more of a pull than just a roll. Dah well. Everything else has been an interesting surprise. This might as well be happening.

So, these are 19x9 and 19x10. I've got 1" adapters. I know I'm going to be doing some fender work, but, I guess I'll see just how much once everything gets here.

nice! I knew it was possible just never seen it done. now what I would to is instead of running the 1" spacer adapters, I would redrill the wheels to 5x114.3! that's my $0.02 to guarantee minimal fender massaging.

Just wanted to point out that Megan only has 1 LS400 coilover line, it covers all LS400s '89-94. They don't have separate part numbers for UCF1x and 2x. They can do this because their coilover was developed on a UCF10.

Good to know. Too late now though. The BC's have shipped. However, out of curiosity, would any of the megans have worked?
