Current Needs Starter/F&R rotors/pads 1997
I need a new starter which is a big job & was going to do a remanned for $150.00 or so vs new. I also need F&R pads rotors & maybe calipers. My heat isn't working & I am guessing it's a thermostat needed & my AC needs fixing. Where is the best place to order OEM or parts considered highly respectable & less than OEM? Any ideas on what heat issue could be if not thermostat? Thanks all

Reman Denso is $133 on RockAuto. I get OEM pads from LPPParts.com. They're a Lexus dealer in Pembroke Pines, FL. I've used them for years and years. The calipers are generally very reliable and rarely fail. What is causing your concern with the calipers? The rotors are fairly pricey from the dealer so choose a good aftermarket brand.
Lack of heat can be many many things. Low coolant level, water pump efficiency, water valve on the firewall, and of course electronic issues. As far as AC I would do Denso only on all of those parts. The Denso condenser is cheap and the Denso compressor is WELL worth it. $266 on RockAuto, brand new.

If speed is not an issue there are companies that rebuild/renew calipers.
I have a E been quite happy with my akebono front pads on my 90 LS.
sounds like you realize where a starter is located in an LS??
