okay, here in florida the min. requirement is the car has to be atleast 30 years old, but i know in some places its 20 or 25 years. anyone out there have classic/antique/historic tags on their Ls400?

 

In Ct. we used to have an "antique" plate for 25 years but now we have a "classic" plate for 20 years, which is what I have on my 94. Cheaper taxes and only $2 more for the registration.

 

I believe here in California, having "historical vehicle" plates means you can only drive the vehicle to and from car shows or very limited use. you do get smog exempt which is cool. the regulation is "25 years old and of historic interest"...

 

Classic drive anywhere tags in Texas after 25 years old, are regular price plus 15.00$

Antique plates are not drive anywhere, only to "shows" and are 5 year plates..
Texas is tough...
