Lexus Parts Sellers?
Hello all, I have a 1990 LS400 and have been looking to buy the fuel pump resistor, part number 23285-50010, which seems to be discontinued.
Does anyone here know of a reputable online Lexus parts seller?
There are some online sites that supposedly carry and stock this part, but most of them have bad reviews. Since it's only about $50 brand new, I'd rather buy it new than spend $35 for it on eBay.
BTW, for anyone who needs to know where the fuel pump resistor is located on this car, it's on the passenger side under the black plastic cover where other fuel system components are.
It's the rectangular grey metal heatsink part, i'm posting pics for your reference.

Does anyone know if I absolutely must disconnect the battery before installing this part?

Every shop manual procedure starts with disconnect the battery, I would just to be sure nothing happens. There is so much that falls under s&@# happens that ends up costing you more cash and time, the disconnect is one of the things you can control so I would and do on most repairs.
