Anyone ever change brake light switch?

It is the likely culprit as everything else checks, and not only no brake lights but no outa park solenoid working either. I'll do it when I have the time. Its not on my car per say.

Have you checked the brake lights failure sensor in the trunk, dicer? I have seen the connector there was partially burnt or the solder there was cracked but I have never experienced the brake switch failed although I have many times among Mercedes cars.
The connector at the sensor handles a big current for 8 bulbs and the peak current exceeds 35A and the average 13A. The repetition of this for many years sometimes causes the connection problem.
