Jason - I'm suprised to see you advertising 15HP and 10tq gain on that 'intake upgrade.'
(" This upgrade will add about 15 horsepower and 10 ft/lbs of torque at the wheels." )

If you were selling these on CL I'd ask you to remove that claim.

For proof it does nothing but take away power see here.It also does not work on 1993-1994 cars without an extra pipe ran from the side of the MAF.

Sure this may be true on one person's car on one dyno run. But the professionals are advertising it as +15 horsepower and +10 torque. I would DEFINETLEY trust this over any little guy that went to the dyno house! ---Otherwise, wouldn't that be false advertising and the company could be sued for millions! Looks like you've just got rich, either that, or the professional engineers and marketers are right in stated the horsepower gain! All FACTS stated in the auction listing are TRUE and from the companies website. Look it up before making a shallow arguement!

jason dude... you are going to have to go through and read through Jbrady's articles on this matter... that intake will most give any car 5-10 hp if installed and setup properly.. in other words.. you still need a source of cold air in order to gain HP.. otherwise you lose HP by installing such an intake by sucking in hot air from the radiator and ABS unit..

I just went on the K&N site (specifically http://www.knfilters.com/filtercharger.htm) and browsed a bit, but i COULD NOT find a claim of +15hp/+10tq. Their full intake kit, however, does say "Designed to increase horsepower and acceleration by as much as 10%" but this is not what you seem to be selling. If you want to claim +15hp and such for a product you haven't dyno'd, then ignore someone who actually DID dyno it so you can make a quick sell, then more power to you. ......independent dyno charts seem more valid to me as a customer, than untested and unproven claims of gains.

Angry CLEAR/RED TAIL LAMPS

Hi Guys

Buyer beware!

Not long ago I purchased a set of aftermarket tails for my 91 LS. Upon washing my LS with a hose I noticed water leakage into the lense and not to mention poor fit when compared to stock.

I understand the Japanese made (not Taiwanese) version are better quality all round.

Cheers

My bad for the really late response Pagong, but I think you meant to quote Rhabryn and not me?

psls400: I've heard of a case where the clear/red tails had problems with condensation, but it's not all that have that problem....no problems on mine as of yet. :knock on wood:

I too have a pair of the red/clear tails for a first gen LS. I have the clears
for the front too. I am looking to sell them to anyone interested as I do
not use them anymore. I had them on my car for about 1 month, but then
wanted to be low key, so my car is back to stock. They are all in mint
condition, if anyone is interested, PM me! BTW, mine never had a condensation
problem, anyone have pics of ones taht did?
