Default Brief Affair With A 430

I really began to like this car but an idiot who ran a stop sign brought it all to a crashing end. My wife was driving and thankfully she came out of it alive because it could have been worse. All the safety features of the car did their jobs well. I'm saddened since but grateful. I'm already looking for another UL but I might have to step up to a 460 If I can't find another one.

Wow, glad your wife is okay and not injured by the air bags, how is she doing? I bet she is going to be car shy after that, the other car must have been going pretty fast.

Thanks, the Wife is ok and definitely is car shy right now. I was not there but knowing the area I'm going to say 30-40 mph through the stop sign.

And be very happy it was not hit in the passenger door area, where it hit was way better, and getting slid is a good thing too. Its too bad she wasn't 30 or so seconds late moving into that area.

I'm just glad there wasn't a truck or car coming in the other direction.

Glad she's OK. Hate it when 'stupid' happens. No reason for it. Hopefully you can get a fresh start on a new one.

Thanks for the concern. Stupid is a good description of the incident. I still have my old girl to get me around until I get something else. I thought I could give her a rest but she's been put back into emergency service.

Thanks Dave. As much as I love my 400 this situation only enforces the need to be in a newer vehicle with lots of safety features.
