Power Steering ACV Fix 94 LS?
So I have the common ACV leak on my 94 LS 172000 miles. White smoke occasionally on startup and it leaks onto my alternator. I have seen many threads on it, but I don't know where to start on this project. I know that the nipples on the ACV can be plugged using the right size bolt. Do you put a hose on it, then put a bolt on the hose, or do you thread the bolt directly into the unit? Also, what is the recommended power steering fluid to use? I want to make sure I do this right so I don't have to replace the alternator a third time. I haven't seen any good pics since the pics people have posted in the past on this topic are now erased from the internet. If anyone has any pics that show this it would be much appreciated.

The bolt/plug will need to screw directly into the PS pump. Make sure the threads are exact, and you get a good seal.
Then you'll need to plug both air hoses.
PS fluid spec is Dexron III. I think some have used Dexron VI with no problems, since III is no longer available. Main thing is definitely don't use anything called Power Steering Fluid.
The hardest part of this will probably be removing the valve. It may be stuck on there tight. The next hardest thing will be figuring out the required thread size (search on here) and finding a bolt of the right size and thread. Not too bad. Good luck.

Naaa even better get the o ring kit from harbor freight. Then you got spares for other applications too.
Just remove the valve from pump blow air in one of the fitting holes or the other one till the little piston pops out.
