Hello everyone again! I have replaced the rear catalytic converter 3 weeks ago with universal magnaflow, now the car's exhaust is louder and it really bothers me. It seems like my ears are now permanently focused on the exhaust noise when I am driving the car. I can't afford it's OEM catalytic converter which is almost the price of the car itself. Any suggestion? Thanks!

The original cats are quite restrictive and muffle quite a bit of noise however e'en a high-low cat shouldn't increase the noise much. Did you replace all the gaskets too?

I just got it fixed, thank you very much for reply. There was a crack in the exhaust pipe. The guy that replaced the cat, he weld the crack and the noise went away.
