Check the part # on yours and match that to any found at the wrecking yard, etc. Has to be the same match. The parts to DIY are sub $8 or so. As long as you have a decent soldering iron and follow the directions Cowboy posted, this is not difficult. You'll save plenty of $$.

The other computer would likely work....But it will go bad as well. DO NOT pay that amount at all. I refurbed mine for 20 bucks. Order the correct capacitors and solder them in. If you cant do it, take it to any half decent hobby electronics joint and pay them 80-100 to do the job.
