Hi Everyone

I’ve got an issue with my 1uz-fe if I rev my vehicle, so completely open the throttle while Not in gear it dies/cuts out then
picks up again and continually dose this!.
But put it in gear and drive it and plant it to fully open the throttle then no problems??.
Has anyone got any ideas to what may be causing this issue Please.

If everything is perfect in gear, I wouldn't stress about this.

Unless the purpose is to ruin the engine, I'd personally avoid flooring it with no load.

 

Need year to help.

Hi Elless400 thanks for your reply mate!, Certainly not trying to ruin it! and by saying flooring it I only mean completely open the throttle while driving it to see if it was doings the same thing under load, but by saying all that it still shouldn’t cut out while opening the throttle whilst not driving either

 

Its a 92 model engine mate.
