What could be the cause.of this vibration? Note that engine mounts and transmission mount were replaced.
Try this also;

I've had 3 SC300's, (still have a 99 SC3) and 2 SC400's. Guess which ones I was always chasing down vibrations in? Yep the SC400's. The 92 I just gave up, but with my 97 I could fix it and then shortly after another vibration issue would come up. Owning an old Toyota can be very frustrating sometimes but when the planets align and everything is working right, you just can't beat it! Good luck and I hope you solve the problem soon to your satisfaction. You sound like a ride snob like me haha. I was going to suggest checking the flex disks on the drive shaft until you said you can feel it even in park. Knock on wood my LS400 is silky smooth for now.

how does your clutch fan bracket look? does it spin freely when cold and your car doesn't sound like a freight train when cold? That's another rotational part of the engine which would change depending on the cooling requirement of the engine.

Have you checked the harmonic damper yet? It can happen that they wear out with age.
