Alpine radio story.....keeps jamming,no controls work,no volume.Works intermittently.Cure is remove faceplate and spray connectors there and on unit with DeOxit.1 spray each, pop faceplate back on and fixed.Did the faceplate on off several times to help clean up connectors.Problem solved.

If you dont know about DeOxit its electrical connector/parts cleaner in a can.Clicker on mouse bad...spray its switch good and poof, fixed.Scratchy sound control ***** on radio, hit it with a good spray.Potentiometers, its your best friend to clean them up.Worth every cent.

If its electrical and it isnt moving, spray it.If its electrical and moving chase it down, tackle it and spray it.

Thanks,

We are ten months in now,and you were right. We love this car more every single time we drive it.It hasnt had a drivability hiccup yet,not a thing.I would trust it to go coast to coast tomorrow.Only 'problem' was a brake light switch and I was not driving it enough and had a sitting, battery go dead, battery issue.Set it up with a slick Battery Tender setup and I am dialed in now.

And I need to say it again.THANK YOU everybody here from the start until this moment for getting us into this car and giving me the crazy insane deep education on what keeps these cars in excellent shape.I really appreciate you all, truly, for that.

Had motor mounts done today. And the highly rated local garage broke the heater valve, but said they ordered it and will fix it.But thats not the story, doo doo happens,I hit a bus so ....we arent perfect. And if they dont come thru, still simple to replace and OEM part 63 dollars on ebay,so all is OK.

But the mounts are AWESOME!!! OEM mounts that member Leeroy here sold me,thanks friend, you are a great guy .

I paid 274 for install and what a difference.Night and day. That great lexus quiet and smoothness is all back.I am so pleased with the new mounts.
Yay!

Spuds- The OEM guy.

Driving on busted mounts and getting fresh ones is dramatic! Enjoy the refreshed smoothness.

Interesting going thru this thread.I see the shocks are KYB on it so the Bilsteins that just got delivered will be a nice replacement shock (strut) up front, pass side had a bad lower bushing..

Paid 5,900,single owner older lady, all toyota services from 11 miles to 4 months ago.Super clean.I was first contact after ad up for 4 hrs, emailed me with info and told me call in am at 8 oclock, which i did today at exactly 0800.Got a nephew to drive me 140 miles, told guy on phone if ad matches car i want it.Said it did, also said he was getting a slew of emails but i get first stab at it,Real gem,and now its mine,VERY cool.
