High idle
Well, my high idle still isn’t fixed. Throttle body is fairly clean and I just replaced the gasket in the IACV but couldn’t tell if it was bad or not. Any help? Tired of firing the parts cannon at the car.

you should put your vehicle info in your profile so we can better assist you.
You should do a google search for the code you are experiencing (code 47) , or something along the lines of LS400 bad TPS . Or you can use the search function on this site, which it doesn't appear you used lol.
i am experienced with 98-00 LS400's , not sure what year yours is? Sounds like an OBD1 vehicle with the code you mentioned. You should be able to search and find the location of your TPS.
That could most definitely be your issue, if your TPS is faulty or out of adjustment, etc, could affect your idle and driveability.
on my 98 & 99 the TPS is on the driver side of the engine, to the right of the throttle body, tucked under the electronic throttle motor.
I guess you could try unplugging the TPS with the car running and see if you notice a difference.
Also unplugging the negative battery terminal for 15 minutes is a free and quick method you could try, to see if that cures your issue, before throwing money at it.

Also, I believe your generation LS400 was known to have ECU capacitor issues, which causes lots of weird problems. But since your vehicle threw that TPS code, I'd definitely look into that first
