Default How to clean/lubricate the sunroof ?

Hey guys, I hope you all doing well. I would like to lubricate my sunroof but I do not know what i should be focusing on and is it okay if I use a silicone spray or should it be grease? Thanks

First, clean the seal and the surface where the seal contacts the car. Next, I would recommend Shin-Etsu silicone grease to lubricate the track and apply some to the seal and leave the sunroof open for around an hour. Clean off any excess grease and open/close the sunroof fully a few times, and you should be good to go.

Just ordered the shin etsu grease, so do you put it around the rubber seal that goes around the glass on the outside or the one that is inside where you have to open the roof first? or both?
