Default Need advice - Fuel cap gasket still building pressure

I recently replaced the fuel cap gasket in my 1993 Lexus LS400 in order to mitigate the pressure build-up in the fuel tank. However, still after replacing the gasket, I have high pressure build-up in the fuel tank which releases when I start to unscrew the cap. Could somebody help me with this issue?

I suspect I may be tightening it too tight.. but I tighten until the cap clicks as it is supposed to. Currently I left it tight enough but not until the cap click, so I'll see at my next fill-up if the problem continues.

Thanks for your responses ahead of time!
