Update: I have been scouring the web for aftermarket upper control arms (front) and tbh after extensive reading, I really don't think it's a good idea to buy any of them. The Moog R series are not holding up per some customer reviews, same with Beck Arnley and any other brand you can name. I have to do something, but cannot justify 1300-400 for 2 new OEM control arms with ball joints. I thought the answer might be premium lines for some of the aftermarket manufacturers, but none of them come up as a fit for a 94 LS400. If anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears. Thx.

I tend to lump all the aftermarket UCA's (MOOG Beck Arnley Dorman etc) into the same JUST OK category. Something to consider, considering your circumstances, both Mevotech and AC Delco come with a limited lifetime warranty compared to 36 mo. most others offer. Granted some auto parts warranties may not be worth the paper they are written on but your options appear bleak.

Looking to convert my ('98) shot air suspension also. Looking at strutmasters.com, but still open to alternatives. Hate to scrap the whole system, but it doesn't sound as though it's likely to be resurrected easily.
Looked at the Arnott C-2221 and similar on Amazon:
That's over $1000.
Anyone tried the Strutmasters?
