His tongue is too big for his mouth and hangs over his lower teeth which makes his voice irritating. His face is extremely unpleasant to look at as well. He could benefit from heavy facial plastic surgery. I personally can not stand the guy. The LS in the video though is in absolute condition. It is fully loaded. It also made me realize just how much of an improvement the second generation LS is over the first. The second generation LS really hiked up the car with regards to road presence and prestige.

He just annoyed me. His review sucked in my opinion, he simply wasnt comparing apples with apples. He also contradicted himself several times through out the Video.
The car was Cherry.
He should have compared it to 2 or more cars of its era, not one of todays cars. It cant compare to today's cars. Some of the stuff in today's cars wasn't even invented back then. I think Toyota were surprisingly innovative for almost 30 years ago, packing in all sorts of advanced features for its time, some features almost no other cars had. There's probably a feature or two in there that no other car had at the time.

Been trying to figure out what about this I really hated, and I think I have it sorted out.
I suppose what gets me the most is he started off doing a self stated "Tour of the Lexus brand", but instead of going from Year to year, or model to model, he quickly turned the tour into a "car review" comparing it with today's Lexus.
What was he trying to do? "Tour of Lexus" or "Unfair comparison Review"? He started with one but changed midway to the other, resulting in a mishmash of both. I for one dont like that as it lacks direction (or the direction unexpectedly changes mid video).

I give him a Philip score of 2/10 for his 'Tour' or 'Review' style.
I think i'll now go to youTube and let him know.
...
Nop, Decided not to give him another youTube view.

I didn't find the video uninformed at all. What did he get wrong? Credibility? He's a guy who makes funny YouTube videos about cars LOL

Its just a car, lighten up. I thoroughly enjoyed the review, I actually watched it twice. Even my wife liked it because of being able to see how the old car compared with our car, and she would rather watch paint dry than watch any of the car stuff I watch.

Your car has 50 more HP, VVT and a 5 speed transmission. He was not driving the same model you have, the 98-00 is much quicker than older LS400s, 2 seconds quicker 0-60.
Very well stated comment here.

Many of us who watch DD on a regular basis, understand the concept of his reviews. For those who don't watch him, AND are fond of the LS, this probably wasn't the best "First" video of his to watch. He routinely states that the Doug Score is a comparison of Today's newest cars, as compared to the car being reviewed. In this case, he was right, the 1990 LS really doesn't compare to a 2018 Camry. We all may feel differently, but it's an objective review of a car as old as him...

First he should have reviewed a newer year of the LS, 97+ and as spuds said it wasn’t a great review, I could have put it together better if Ik how to make vids lol, amazing car.

Considering he said this car whooped all other makes in the luxury department and also was surprised by some of the futuristic features, I thought it was fine. I ignore the Doug Score cause it's 100 on the Rokas Score.
