I like what I see
Hopefully the Japanese magazine got the picture from a reliable source.
If it's real, I'm relieved and glad that it's not any of the photoshopped pictures previously floating around.
But hey, is that the best your scanner can do? And if it's really from a Japanese magazine, it'd be nice to see it in the whole page with texts and everything...
Thanks for sharing no matter what.

Sorry, I will rescan it nicely
Hey, Sorry Guys, I was in a rush, but I will have a nice clear photo for you hopefully tmw evening. I certainly believe that this magazine got this photo from a reliable source since they revealed the photos of many of the Japanese cars about 3 months before they were introduced. Anyways, I will post a clearer one tmw.

Hate to say this, but later I realized why I like what I see in the picture--the new design of LS430 is almost a direct copy of the current S-class!
Now narrow your eyes and distance yourself from the monitor for a minute...don't the pictures of the new LS430 and the S-class look simply identical?
Just when you think the current LS430 is blatant enough a copy of the previous S-class, the new LS430 is going to be a even more blatant copy of the current S-class, which is soon going to be an old design too.
Even as a diehard Lexus fan, I can't help but agree to the saying that Lexus, design-wise at least, is no more than a poor copy of a 5-year-old design from MB.

I don't see what you are seeing on the LS-S comparison. The so-called 2004 redesign picture is too fuzzy to make it out that clearly. Secondly, it does not appear to be different from the 2003 LS design, unless of course you claim that the '03 model is also a copy of the S. BTW, the picture of the S you showed in your post is NOT a 5-year old design, but the recent re-design by Mercedes.
BTAIM, we will have to wait for a clearer picture of the 2004 and see if indeed it is a copy ot the S-. The jury is still out, imo.

Supossidly there are few changes to the Celsior in Japan - BUT - that doesn't reflect on the LS in the States... As we well know what we get here is ussually quite different from what is made available there...
Here is a picture of the soon to be available "ER" version of Celsior
