(90, 95, 00) had a 90 shoulda kept it oh well. still looking for one thats right. plus im hunting down a parts car for my 95. ideally a pristine one with low miles some asshat didnt know how to handle and crashed. they exist! heck i was an inch away from scooping up a 92 yesterday just bc it was so cheap but wasnt a year that interests me.

truth be told i wasnt even considering the green. i was looking for black on tan or white on tan, with chrome starfish wheels and the nak stereo, but it was just too clean to pass on. ones this nice simply dont show up!
i was considering a 460 but a 460 in my price range is going to be an 07 clapped out bomb with 300k on it and sticky dash and door panels, and id be making payments on it so screw that! plus ive always wanted one of these late ones.
i like the green bc its sort of uncommon. really pretty car. and it really is in insane shape. i have it in the air right now at my dealership looking at it. the undercarriage is absolutley pristine. no leaks no discoloration no rust ive seen newer LS460s that didnt look this nice under. all the guard panels are there. nothing is bent. not even any road grime. its so clean i could eat off of it!!

Yeah you don't want to be making payments on something as old as an 07 with all those miles...

And when you find a nice example of one that old, you buy it regardless of what color it is LOL

so, i spent as much time with the tech in the service bay as i could inbetween dealing with my own clients here. we went over everything and he remarked about how insanley clean it was. the other techs as well as my service writer as well as my drive manager were all commenting about it being in such good condition mechanically. coemetically its a 5 footer but it really is a perfect example of one that was truly looked after. they said most 430s and even early 460s that come thru arent even that well kept, and that i got a good one!

funny, im kinda known as the "junky LS guy" around here. ive had 4 different ones since i started working here. everytime i get one i bring it in for an exam. cant tell you how many times ive heard "seriously why rob.. why??" and "hey whats the junk heap this week?" one of them was so bad my manager just told me to "save my money and let it die". the worst was probably the swampy moldy half dead barley running 94 that had no mufflers and smoked real bad. i was told "seriously.. just.... make it go away.. please man make it go away"

not this time. someone says to me from another dept, "i dont know why you waste your time with these or why they are so special to you, but damn thats a good one!"
