1st gen alternator on a 2nd gen
Title. My alternator on my 98 LS just went out, I know someone parting out a 94 LS that has a working alternator and it would be cheaper than buying a remanufactured one. Does anyone happen to know if one off a first gen would fit mine?

Also...earlier models may be lower amperage...
Go with 2001-2003 LS430 130A Alternator.
