Headlights/bulbs
ive never replaced the headlights or bulbs but I need 2, now I know the LS (1999) takes 9006, is this the case for both the low beam and high beams? Because I notice my low beams are yellow and my high beams are bright white, will that make them all bright white if I put 9006 in all 4 pockets where the lights go, Or is the low beam a different type of bulb, thanks.

Use this guide here:

Highs are 9005. If you desire a uniform color temp for the high and low beams then LED or HID options would be those.

Ah I understand now, thank you sir. I just decided to go LED ones, “6000k” high efficiency brightness which seemed pretty good, still don’t know what color I’m gonna make the low beams, might just keep them halogen for the yellow color..

be careful and make sure you car does not have HID headlight bulbs which are not 9006! They are D2R type bulbs.
also running LED in the high beams is not recommended since you have day time running lights with run at half wattage.
LED bulbs are not meant to run this way and may flicker when on.
low beam with LED 9006 you should be ok.

If you replaced your 9005 High Beam/DRL bulb with an LED and it is flickering in DRL mode now, you may be able to run them if you include extra components. A 'CANBUS' fix, PWM anti-flicker module, 'error canceller', etc - everyone calls them something different. We carry these at the link I just provided, but while some people have experienced success in mixing and matching parts from us and parts from elsewhere, I can only really guarantee that they will work properly with our lights.
I would suggest that you check in with the vendor who sold you the LEDs. See if they have anything that would help regulate the power flow from the vehicle's side so the lights don't flicker. That being said, LEDs are usually only capable of one level of brightness, so even if you can get them to stop flickering they are likely to be on at full power in both High Beam and DRL mode.
