Arizona state lawmaker pulled over for speeding tells deputy on video he sometimes drives 140 mph

I saw this in the news then watched the video of this state senator from the perspective of the cop. I couldn't believe it when I saw he was driving a 2nd generation LS400. He brags about how great it is - he's right. No idea why he was fessing up on video that he drove 140mph though lol

Tooooo damn funny! I agree, you cant beat these cars, even if your a politician its a great car.Lexus should use that on a commercial. He has the exuberant Lexus smile I get when trying to explain what a super car this is.Only an owner can understand.

"Baby, I know how much you love your car, but I don't really understand and you talk about it all the time..." Lol.
The best is my father when I got the 96, which is in damn good condition. He came with me to drive the car I was using back and after I bought the Lexus, he comes up to my window and says "You know this is still a piece of **** right?"
This man owns 3 Ford Focuses.
Focuses.
They're 10 years newer and have way more problems not to mention everything shakes and it sounds like it's gonna break. Hah. This '05 Focus's serpentine belt pops off every time it takes a small drop (like off a curb). I'll stop now. The cupholders aren't even right! They're too big to hold anything but a bowl of Ramen noodles and to add to that, they have holes in the sides encouraging drinks to spill.

When the love for the Lex is so strong that you just have to spread the gospel, even when running the risk of implicating yourself in a crime. Never mind, legislative immunity. Funny too how I went to the comments section looking to converse about the superiority of the LS, but instead was brought back down to reality real quick when everyone else's comments were calling for his head. Guess it's real easy to sort the car guys from everyone else on there. Oh, and also, ONE OF US! Bet dude is either a member or a lurker here.

Really,if you think about it,shouldnt all LS400 owners have legislative immunity? Works for me...

He couldn't stop smiling (we know why). So..... if he 'd kept his mouth shut the officer would have had him walk the line.
Jokes aside here's the irony of the matter, http://www.congressweb.com/azta/legi...o/mbr_id/1240/

I swear I was constantly speeding in my 95 because the cluster lights didn't work and I could never see my speed. Well for a year and a half, with multiple instances of cops behind me as I'm speeding just switching lanes and leaving, I was convinced that is the least likely car to get pulled over in. Probably though I was some old dude.

Put a sheriff sticker on it.

Heck,I got pulled over without the registration or insurance papers in jeep,at 2 AM,going to watch a meteor shower.Had a thermos filled with hot chocolate and kaluha to boot "You been drinking?" Mrs "just hot chocolate, want some?"Helps looking like you’re 197 years old? Got sent away with a warning to fix a burned out tail light bulb. And I’m not even a state representative.
